I have been wanting to experiment wearing prints on prints but it just isn’t that easy to try to match them so that I don’t end up looking like I am in a costume and all ready to keep the kids entertain in a party.
Guess the easiest way out has just got to be sticking with the safest colors in the wardrobe, BLACK and WHITE.
The first layer is a polka dots tube and a pencil skirt with diagonal stripes texture.
It isn’t very obvious in real life but you can see it quite clearly in the picture above.
And threw on a nautical striped jacket and it doesn’t seem quite that bad after all.
At least I felt I could head to work in these. :-p
It’s my outfit post again! And I promise the next post is not going to be my outfit post.
I must admit though that it is so much easier to do an outfit post as opposed to a travel or dining post. :-p
I love polka dots as they make an outfit a little more fun and a little more interesting. What more a dress with haphazard dots in two colours!
Love this dress as it is thick enough to weigh the dress down to give it enough form and it just makes me a happy girl wearing it.
Not forgetting the vintage vibes it gives. 🙂

How was your Good Friday long weekend?
I had a great time spending it with Beebops and I can’t believe it is Monday already now!
Painted my nails in pastel in polka dots and zig zag lines like Easter Eggs.
The only time I can eat these Cadbury Mini Eggs now is during Easter as it is imported only then. 😦
They used to have it in the supermarkets all year round. I usually buy more than one when I see it on the shelves and now I am down to my last one and I should head to the supermarket really soon to sweep up what’s left on the shelf!
For this manicure, I used the Yellow Polish (second bottle from the left) & the Orange Polish (second bottle from left) for the dots.
Please pardon the uneven edges as I painted over my gelish nail polish as I didn’t want to remove it cos it involves so much chemical soaking and further filing of the nails.
